League of Legends Patch 26.19 Begins the Road to Worlds 2026
League of Legends Patch 26.19 buffs Aphelios, Aatrox, and Kha’Zix, adjusts Teleport and support items, and begins the balance cycle for Worlds 2026.
The latest Pokémon UNITE balance patch arrived on September 3, 2026, at 04:00 UTC. Officially titled “Drive to Victory,” the update introduces a new Battle Pass season, prepares the game for Morpeko, fixes bugs and text issues, and adjusts 13 playable Pokémon.
This is primarily a balance update rather than a major mechanical expansion. Its most significant changes target powerful late-game options such as Reshiram, while underperforming characters including Crustle, Buzzwole, and Mewtwo Y receive direct improvements. Here is a detailed explanation of what changed and how the patch may affect regular matches.
The September update includes the following general additions:
Players whose game client has not updated automatically should restart the application. The official notice also warns that temporary connection problems may occur while the update is being applied.
Crustle receives two useful improvements designed to reinforce its role as a Defender. Rock Tomb now reduces an opponent’s movement speed for three seconds instead of two, giving Crustle and its teammates more time to follow up after the move lands.
Rubble Rouser also requires less Unite Move energy. Its requirement has fallen from 120,000 to 110,000, which should make the ability available more frequently during a match. The combination of longer crowd control and faster Unite Move availability may make Crustle more dependable when defending objectives or disrupting coordinated enemy pushes.
Buzzwole receives a 12.5 percent increase to its boosted attack damage. The cooldown of Superpower has also been shortened from eight seconds to 7.5 seconds.
Neither adjustment completely redesigns the character, but both improve its ability to maintain pressure in close-range fights. A shorter Superpower cooldown should create more opportunities to reposition opponents, while the stronger boosted attack gives Buzzwole additional damage between ability uses.
The official developer explanation indicates that Buzzwole was struggling to influence the outcome of Unite Battles. These buffs are therefore aimed at improving its overall match presence rather than correcting one isolated problem.
Mewtwo Y now deals 10 percent more damage with its standard basic attacks. During Mega Evolution, basic attack damage has been increased by eight percent.
This is a simple but potentially important improvement because basic attacks are a central part of Mewtwo Y’s damage output. The official notes explain that it had fallen behind other Attacker-class Pokémon, making it difficult for the character to perform its intended offensive role.
Players should notice the change most clearly during sustained engagements. Mewtwo Y will still need careful positioning, but it should now apply more reliable pressure when it is allowed to attack continuously.
Dodrio receives three separate buffs. Jump Kick’s cooldown has been reduced from 6.5 seconds to six seconds, Drill Peck deals eight percent more damage, and Triple Trample now requires 110,000 Unite Move energy instead of 120,000.
These changes strengthen several parts of Dodrio’s normal gameplay loop. Jump Kick becomes available more frequently, Drill Peck offers better offensive value, and the lower Unite Move requirement should give players additional opportunities to activate Triple Trample.
The patch does not remove the need for precise movement and timing. However, it gives experienced Dodrio players more chances to enter fights, apply pressure, and escape before opponents can respond.
Articuno now applies a 40 percent movement-speed reduction with Ice Beam, up from 30 percent. The damage of Ice Wing Whiteout has increased by 10 percent, while opponents must deal an additional 1,000 damage to destroy the ice covering goal areas.
These adjustments make Articuno better at controlling space. The stronger slowing effect improves long-range harassment, while the more durable goal-covering ice should increase its defensive value during important scoring situations.
Moltres also receives two buffs. The Defense and Special Defense bonus granted by Sky Attack for each opposing Pokémon hit has increased from eight percent to 10 percent. Firebird Inferno now deals 10 percent more damage.
According to the developer notes, Moltres was frequently being knocked out after approaching opponents. The additional defenses should make committed attacks less risky, while the Unite Move damage increase improves its ability to finish a successful engagement.
Alolan Ninetales receives an eight percent increase to boosted attack damage and a 10 percent increase to Avalanche damage.
The character already offers useful hindrance effects, but its lower damage output made it difficult to compete with other Attackers. These changes preserve its crowd-control identity while making successful ranged attacks more rewarding.
Reshiram is the most heavily affected Pokémon in the September patch. Blue Flare and Flames That Bring Lightning both deal 10 percent less damage, while boosted attacks now reduce Unite Move cooldown by 10 percent instead of 15 percent.
The third activation of Reshiram’s Unite Move has also been weakened across several categories. Its shield has fallen from 20 percent to 10 percent, its movement-speed bonus has dropped from 30 percent to 15 percent, and its move-cooldown reduction has decreased from 30 percent to 10 percent. The duration of these buffs has been shortened from six seconds to four seconds.
These are substantial reductions rather than minor numerical corrections. Reshiram should still offer meaningful late-game power, but players will have less protection, mobility, and ability availability during the third Unite Move activation. The official explanation states that its high damage and frequently available buffs allowed it to dominate the middle and later stages of matches.
Yveltal now receives a two percent damage increase per Destruction Counter stack from Dark Aura, reduced from three percent. Oblivion Wing also deals five percent less damage.
The smaller scaling bonus should reduce Yveltal’s ability to build overwhelming offensive pressure. The Oblivion Wing nerf is more modest, but it contributes to an overall reduction in damage across longer fights.
Feraligatr receives a broader set of nerfs. Waterfall’s cooldown has increased from 6.5 seconds to 7.5 seconds, and the move provides 15 percent less shielding. The red Gluttonous Fangs and purple Clamping Fangs versions of Crunch both deal 10 percent less damage.
Feraligatr will consequently have fewer opportunities to use Waterfall and less protection when doing so. Combined with the lower Crunch damage, the changes should make aggressive engagements easier for opponents to survive.
Greedent loses durability across both defensive statistics. Its maximum Defense has been reduced from 540 to 500, while its maximum Special Defense has fallen from 460 to 420. Berry Belly Flop now requires 100,000 Unite Move energy instead of 90,000.
Comfey receives a direct nerf to Sweet Kiss. Its cooldown increases from six seconds to seven seconds, and its base infatuation duration falls from 0.6 seconds to 0.2 seconds before the additional flower-based duration is calculated.
Garchomp also has longer cooldowns. Dragon Rush increases from 5.5 seconds to six seconds, while Dragon Claw rises from four seconds to five seconds. These changes create longer gaps between Garchomp’s disruption and close-range attack opportunities.
The September 2026 patch appears designed to reduce the influence of several dominant characters while giving less effective selections clearer reasons to enter the current meta. Reshiram’s extensive nerfs should have the greatest immediate effect, especially during late-game fights in which its third Unite Move activation previously supplied several powerful bonuses at once.
Crustle may become a more appealing Defender because of its improved slowing effect and more accessible Unite Move. Mewtwo Y and Alolan Ninetales should produce more competitive ranged damage, while Dodrio gains improvements to mobility, damage, and Unite Move availability.
Players using Feraligatr, Greedent, Comfey, or Garchomp will need to manage cooldowns and positioning more carefully. Their core identities remain intact, but they now provide opponents with larger windows in which to counterattack.
For most players, the most practical step is to test familiar builds before making major changes. The patch adjusts important numbers, but it does not remove any Pokémon’s defining mechanics. Its real impact will depend on team composition, map objectives, player coordination, and whether the buffed characters can convert their improved statistics into consistent match results.
