PlayStation Plus September 2026 Adds WWE 2K26, RuneScape: Dragonwilds
The PlayStation Plus September 2026 catalog adds WWE 2K26, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Ball x Pit, Slitterhead, and several notable PS4 games.
The latest Overwatch patch went live on September 17, 2026, with a focused set of balance changes and bug fixes. Rather than adjusting the entire hero roster, Blizzard Entertainment used this hotfix to reduce D.Mon’s durability and offensive pressure while returning Mercy to the Stadium game mode.
Although the patch notes are relatively short, the D.Mon changes affect several parts of her kit at the same time. Players will now have less armor, lower damage from two offensive options, more fuel consumption, and a longer cooldown on Fusion Repeater. These combined adjustments are likely to have a greater effect than any single numerical change would suggest.
The September 17 update is classified as a hotfix rather than a major seasonal patch. It is available across the supported Overwatch platforms, including PC, Nintendo systems, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox consoles. Replay codes created after the September 8 patch remain available, so players do not need to save or replace them because of this update.
The complete hotfix contains the following changes:
The most immediately noticeable D.Mon nerf is the reduction to her armor. In the standard 5v5 format, her armor has dropped from 325 to 275. Her 6v6 armor has also been reduced by 50 points, falling from 300 to 250.
That reduction represents approximately 15.4 percent of her previous 5v5 armor and 16.7 percent of her previous 6v6 armor. Because armor provides defensive value against incoming attacks, the change should make sustained enemy fire more threatening and reduce the amount of time D.Mon can remain in an exposed position.

The practical effect should be especially noticeable during the opening moments of a team fight. D.Mon players will have less room to absorb damage before using a defensive option, retreating behind cover, or requesting support from teammates. Opponents may also find it easier to punish aggressive positioning before D.Mon can disengage.
The change follows an earlier September 8 adjustment that had already reduced her 6v6 armor from 325 to 300. The September 17 hotfix lowers it again to 250, meaning her 6v6 armor has fallen by a total of 75 points across the two September updates.
Focused Fusion, one of D.Mon’s major perks, now deals 36 damage per bullet instead of 45. This is a reduction of 9 damage per bullet, equivalent to a 20 percent decrease from its previous value.
The change should reduce D.Mon’s ability to create sudden offensive pressure when using the perk. Players may need to maintain accuracy for longer or coordinate more closely with teammates to secure eliminations that previously depended on Focused Fusion’s higher damage.
This adjustment is more substantial than the small damage reduction applied to Fusion Repeater. It indicates that the hotfix is not only intended to reduce D.Mon’s survivability. It also targets her ability to convert an aggressive move into rapid damage, particularly when the major perk is active.
Players using D.Mon after the patch should avoid assuming that familiar attack sequences will produce the same result. Targets that could previously be eliminated within a particular window may now survive long enough to receive healing, use a defensive ability, or reach cover.
The Propulsors fuel drain rate has increased from 25 to 30. The official notes do not describe this as a direct reduction to movement speed, but the higher consumption rate means that D.Mon cannot maintain the ability for as long before exhausting the available fuel.
This change places greater importance on route planning. D.Mon players may need to use shorter bursts of movement instead of holding Propulsors continuously, particularly when crossing open areas or attempting to reach an elevated position.
The adjustment also affects escape decisions. Using too much fuel to enter a fight may leave insufficient mobility for retreating after D.Mon begins taking damage. That risk becomes more important when combined with the 50-point armor reduction.
Players should monitor the fuel meter carefully and preserve part of the resource when entering uncertain engagements. The nerf does not remove D.Mon’s mobility, but it makes inefficient use easier for opponents to punish.

Fusion Repeater received two separate nerfs. Its damage has been reduced from 16 to 15, while its cooldown has increased from four seconds to five seconds.
The single-point damage reduction is modest when considered on its own. However, repeated use across a full match will lower D.Mon’s total damage output, particularly during longer engagements in which Fusion Repeater is used several times.
The cooldown adjustment may have a more visible effect on moment-to-moment gameplay. Increasing the cooldown from four seconds to five seconds represents a 25 percent increase in the waiting period between uses. Players will therefore have fewer opportunities to activate it during extended fights.
Together, these changes make timing more important. Using Fusion Repeater against an unfavorable target or missing an opportunity will carry a greater cost because the ability takes longer to become available again.
The September 17 patch reduces D.Mon’s effectiveness in four connected areas: durability, perk damage, sustained offensive output, and mobility resource management. This makes the update broader than a simple health adjustment.
D.Mon can still participate aggressively, but players will need to be more selective. Entering without sufficient Propulsors fuel, taking unnecessary damage, or using Fusion Repeater too early could leave her without the resources needed to survive the rest of the engagement.
Support players may also notice that D.Mon requires earlier assistance. Her reduced armor gives healers less time to respond when she is focused by multiple opponents. Teams that previously relied on her to hold an exposed position independently may need to provide more defensive support or use nearby cover more effectively.
For opposing teams, the update creates clearer opportunities to punish mistakes. Concentrated fire should remove D.Mon’s armor more quickly, and tracking the longer Fusion Repeater cooldown may provide a safer window for an attack.
The other important part of the hotfix concerns Mercy. Blizzard Entertainment fixed a gameplay issue involving the support hero and re-enabled her in all Stadium queues. Mercy had previously been disabled because of a problem that reportedly caused server lag.
Her return restores another support option to the mode and allows players to resume using Stadium strategies built around her healing and mobility. The official patch notes do not list any separate Mercy balance adjustments, so the change should be understood as a bug fix and reinstatement rather than a redesign of her kit.
Players should now be able to select Mercy normally in every Stadium queue. If she remains unavailable, restarting the game and verifying that the latest update has been applied may resolve problems caused by an outdated client.
The September 17 hotfix does not introduce new graphics settings, control options, maps, or system requirements. It also does not invalidate replay codes generated after the September 8 update. Most players can therefore continue using their existing settings without making technical changes.
The main adjustments are strategic. D.Mon players should practice using shorter Propulsors activations, avoid unnecessary exposure, and pay closer attention to Fusion Repeater’s five-second cooldown. Mercy players can return to Stadium and resume testing builds specific to that mode.
The Overwatch September 17, 2026 patch is a compact but meaningful balance update. D.Mon has not lost any abilities, but the simultaneous reductions to armor, Focused Fusion, Propulsors, and Fusion Repeater should make careless aggression considerably less effective.
The Mercy fix is equally practical for Stadium players because it restores a temporarily unavailable hero without introducing additional balance changes. Overall, the hotfix appears designed to address two immediate problems: D.Mon’s strong performance and Mercy’s game-affecting Stadium issue.
For D.Mon users, the best response is not to abandon the hero but to play more deliberately. Efficient fuel use, better positioning, and careful ability timing will be more important under the new balance values.
