Mecharashi review covers the 1.7.1 Mod APK speed and no-ads options, part-destruction combat, 120-color customization, and pacing or resource drawbacks for tactical mech squad play.
The modified 1.7.1 build changes the flow more than I expected. The speed option shortens repeated story battles when I am farming early parts, and the no-ads build removes forced pauses after a failed sortie. That alone makes the game feel more like a session you can pick up for thirty minutes instead of an hour. The catch is that high speed makes precise shots harder, so I found myself easing off during missions that require careful positioning.
Targeting is where the tactical layer earns its keep. Hitting the torso is the quickest way to remove a mech, but an arm with minor damage can still fire back, and a mech with one leg can still limp toward cover. In the early missions, I lost units because I focused on center mass while ignoring movement. Taking out legs first pins enemies in place and opens a safe angle for your weapons. The downside is obvious: disabling parts takes more turns, and your own squad suffers the same penalties when the enemy gets the first hit.
Customization goes beyond picking a paint scheme, though the 1.7.1 update gives you more than 120 colors to play with. I spent time making my front-line mech look the way I wanted before realizing that visual changes do little if the loadout does not match the pilot. A sniper pilot with long-range weapons needs stable legs; a brawler needs an arm with high close-combat damage. The game rewards building squads for specific maps, but it also forces you to commit resources to parts that might be useless in a different mission. Mecharashi doesn't hand you a perfect squad; it expects you to earn the parts through trial and error.
The biggest frustration is pacing. Part-destruction battles can turn into attrition matches, especially when both squads try to disable each other's weapons. If you want instant action, this is not that game. The UI can also feel crowded when several mechs are scattered across the map and multiple limbs are down; it takes a moment to read which units are still combat-ready. Resource management is another bottleneck: specific parts are required to build the loadout you want, and unlucky drops can slow your progress.
